Jackee moved from Wyoming to the Bitterroot Valley in 2013. She is a graduate of Penn Foster College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Jackee has been a Vet Tech since 2010 and has a passion for large animal work. She loves being outdoors and spending time with her husband & daughter. 


​Betsy moved to Corvallis with her husband Shawn and their family in 2002 and is the practice manager for Tammany Veterinary Hospital. Betsy enjoys spending time with their two girls Abby and Katie exploring the many activities available in Montana’s beautiful Bitterroot Valley. 


Ashley is a graduate of University of Montana Western. She moved to the Bitterroot Valley and started working for Tammany Veterinary Hospital in 2014. Ashley enjoys barrel racing and roping in her free time.

Shawn Gleason, DVM

Dr. Shawn Gleason is originally from the Madison Valley of Montana. He graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He moved to the Bitterroot Valley with his family in 2002 to start his own practice. Prior to his move to the Bitterroot Valley, he practiced at Idaho Equine Hospital in Nampa, Idaho for five years. Dr. Gleason works on horses and both beef and dairy cattle. Shawn enjoys roping in his spare time.

Alexandra Van de Motter, DVM

Dr. Allie joined us as an associate veterinarian in July, 2016. A native of Ohio, she spent two years in equine practice at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Having done her undergraduate work in Missoula, she is glad to return to Montana. While excelling in equine care, she is excited to work on the goats and sheep of the Bitterroot Valley. Dr. Allie as a graduate of the Options for Animals Veterinary Chiropractic program and is certified in Animal Chiropractic by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Kyle Kelly joined Tammany Veterinary Hospital in June of 2017. As an avid athlete, Kyle enjoys the pure athleticism that horses display. He attended veterinary school at Colorado State University and focused primarily on equine work. He also spent time working on bison and feral swine with the USDA during his time in veterinary school. His professional areas of interest include lameness, dentistry and sports medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and his dog, Turbo, mountain biking, trail running, fly fishing, woodworking and skiing.
